This Australian made UV protection spray is a high quality & well-well engineered product designed to spray on and dry clear to outdoor furniture & fake plants to protect them from the harsh Australian sun. It is as easy as spraying and waiting for it to dry (dries clear on most surfaces) – patch application recommended for furniture.
If you’ve purchased non-UV protected artificial plants or lower quality fake plants from a local dollar shop or hardware store, you may want to consider using our artificial plants UV spray for added protection.
What is the UV Home Safe spray / UV Home Safe Sun Protection Spray?
Superlast UV is a clear zero voc waterborne acrylic, an electrometric membrane is formulated as a clear product
that provides superb sealing and protection qualities for all ornamental and decorative materials including plastics and
fabrics; including fake plants, green walls, floral arrangements, and topiary protection.
It penetrates deep into the surface and adds flexibility, strength, easy maintenance. It enhances colour, protects
against fading and ageing and keeps the dust down while forming a durable waterproofed chemical and abrasion resistant
surface. Use Superlast UV where the natural colour is to be preserved and the life of the materials and products are to be
prolonged.

Preparation hints:
Remove dust, oil, grease, form the surface, it can be sprayed, wiped or where possible dipped (for intricate
surfaces such as leaves. Where dipping is used, hang and allow drying naturally for best results. Alternatively, use the spray nozzle and spray with a mist until covered.

John Cootes generally offers a 12-month warranty on all products, unless stated otherwise. Some products will be provided with extended warranty for your peace of mind. Electronics products come with a 3-month warranty. Please note that any products with electronic components (SKU starts with V28) will be subject to the 3-month warranty.
You are required to notify John Cootes within 7 working days in the unlikely event that the item arrives damaged or faulty. In addition to a detailed description, you are required to provide images (or a short video clip if more appropriate) of the damage in order to proceed with the warranty process. Once assessed and approved by our customer service team, you will be contacted to proceed with the return, refund or replacement process. Please do not attempt to return the item without our approval.
To make a claim, you must provide us with a copy of your order number or any kind of proof showing that you purchased the item from us. You need to also describe the problem precisely and provide evidence to support your claim, and state whether you are requesting a replacement, repair, refund or credit.
All images and videos should be of acceptable quality that allows us to assess the claim.
Thumbnail images are not considered to be good quality as we cannot make a clear assessment of alleged faults or damage.
*Some issues may require customers to simulate the problem with a short video (i.e. gas struts not working, chair not reclining etc).
Failure to do so may delay the warranty claim (If the customer did not fully cooperate for any reason and the replacement part was not the issue. The customer may be charged for the cost of return of the replacement part).
A customer should not dispose of items before a warranty claim has been made and finalised, as we may ask for items to be inspected.
We reserve our rights, subject to the Australian Consumer Law to not provide a credit, replacement or refund in cases where goods are disposed of by the customer before a warranty claim has been finalised.
Refunds generally take up to 5 working days to process and we will notify you once the refund has been processed. However, please allow an additional 5 working days on top for your financial institution to process it.
A refund or replacement will not be provided if products are being misused, mishandled or mistakenly installed. Customers are responsible for following the instructions and advice given by the manufacturers.
My product is faulty or broken what do I do?

Can I cancel or change my order?
We will cancel your order without penalty if you notify us within the first 24 hours after you have made your purchase. For more information on our full Refund policy visit our Refund policy page.
Do you deliver outside of Australia?
Unfortunately no we do not sell or ship products outside of Australia.
Unfortunately not, the courier services have a front door + ground floor policy.
They are not permitted to carry the item upstairs as they would not be covered by their employers OH&S guidelines.
Should your front door be above ground floor level, please ensure someone is available to assist you in moving the boxes if you are unable to do so yourself.

Do you ship absolutely everywhere in Australia?

If you miss your free delivery additional delivery fees may apply for a redelivery or you may be given the option to collect from a courier depot for free. This will depend on the courier, your location and the size of the item.
Can I delay or change the delivery date?
Once we dispatch your order, the terms of your shipping is handled with the courier company we have dispatched your order through. If certain circumstances need to be changed we encourage you to communicate directly with your courier company using the tracking and order numbers we have provided you with.
What courier or shipping company will be delivering my order?
We use are variety of courier companies and they include AusPost, Fastway, Toll, Hunter Express and Allied Express. We will provide you with a consignment or tracking number and the link of where you can track your order. This will allow you to have an estimated time of delivery. How long will it take to receive my order and how do I track it?

I received my tracking details but they aren't showing up on the courier sites tracking system?
The tracker is issued when an order has been booked in. If your tracker isn't immediately showing any details it can usually be because the item has not been picked up from the warehouse yet, rest assured check back in a few hours and it should be there.
When will a certain product be back in stock?
We can't guarantee when or if a certain product will ever be back in stock. If you wish to subscribe to our mailing list and/or follow us on social media we usually make announcements on stock updates, promotions and new product arrivals.
