Orders are generally shipped from our Melbourne distribution centre the next working day after your order is received.
John Cootes are working with the below couriers to provide the quickest and most efficient delivery service.
Please be advised your order may come in multiple packages and/or have more than one tracking number. If you receive part of the order please allow at least 2 business days for the remaining parcels to arrive as 90% of following parcels usually arrive within 2 business days after the first.
Please refer to our shipping policy for your state, and contact us if you have not received all of your order within the quoted delivery time frame.
For us to be able to assist; Any delivery delay should be reported by you to us within 30 working days from the date of dispatch.
Our courier partner will investigate any delivery delay, which can take up to 2 working days. If we receive no update within 2 working days of notifying the partner, we will offer an appropriate remedy following the Australian Consumer Laws. For delivery time frames, please visit our shipping guide. Due to ongoing COVID restrictions in place in different states and unforeseen occurrence of natural disasters from time to time, delivery time frames can be affected. Your patience in such cases would be highly appreciated.
*It is the customer's responsibility to immediately report delays in delivery after the quoted time frame. JC ships its orders within acceptable time frames and is not responsible if there are delivery delays.
We would not refund or offer compensation if the issue was not reported to us within 5 days (or a reasonable period) after the expected delivery time frame.

Items that weigh 22kg or less will be dispatched with eParcel, which is Australia Post’s Internet enabled freight system.
Each parcel will carry a barcoded address label and you will be able to view the location of your item at various points in the delivery process via Australia Post’s online tracking tool.
When your order is dispatched, you will be given a consignment number.
You can use the number to track your order on the AusPost website.

Aramex was formerly known as Fastway
Some items that weigh below 22kg will be dispatched with Aramex instead of eParcel. You will receive an email confirmation of your order including a tracking number, as soon as your orders are dispatched. Aramex provides reliable courier distribution service across Australia. Their comprehensive fleet and professional team will ensure items delivered safely to your door.
Parcels dispatched with Aramex are collected from our premises on a daily basis. Each parcel will carry a barcoded address label and you will be able to view the location of your item at various points in the delivery process via Aramex's website.
A non- PO Box address is required for Aramex's delivery. If you fail to provide the correct information, your parcel will not be dispatched until the accurate information is received by our customer service team.

Parcels that weigh over 22kg will be dispatched with Allied Express or Hunter Express. Allied Express is the biggest and independently owned courier company in Australia with offices in all major mainland capitals.
Each parcel will carry a barcoded address label and you will be able to track you items through the Allied Express website. Allied Express will contact you prior to delivery via SMS or phone number.
Allied Express requires a consignment note and the post code of the destination to track the item at http://alliedexpress.com.au/ or call 13 13 73 for more queries.
Parcels that weigh over 22kg will be dispatched with Hunter Express or Allied Express. Door-to-door road is an Australia wide service via road express. Transit time will vary from 1-2 working days to up to a week - depending upon the distance. Estimated transit times will display each time you make a booking.
Hunter Express requires a consignment note in order to use the quick track function.
Some parcels which weigh less than 30kg will be dispatched with Toll. Toll is a major integrated logistics provider with an Asia Pacific focus. They provide safe, secure transport services.
Each parcel will carry a barcoded address label and you will be able to track you items through the Toll website.
A non-PO Box address is required for Toll’s delivery. If you fail to provide the correct information, your parcel will not be dispatched until the accurate information is received by our customer service team.
If the delivery is missed, you should receive a card with instructions on how to find your parcel. You can visit the Toll website to arrange a re-delivery.

In the unlikely event that your parcel is returned to us, our customer service representative will contact you via email.
Where the Order Will Be Delivered To
We offer a fast and cost effective shipping method that delivers direct to either your front door, front entrance, foyer, reception or other ground floor parcel receiving locations (sorry, the courier drivers cannot go up stairs or go past the front door). This is due to Workplace Health & Safety and liability restrictions of our couriers, and the customer is responsible for bringing any products into their home. Please ensure there is a safe place on ground level to leave your parcel if you cannot be there to accept delivery and ensure you have someone available to assist you if you require it to be carried up any stairs.
Inaccurate Address
If there are any address discrepancies with your order the product is returned us, a customer care team member will be in touch. A re-delivery cost will occur for any products that are returned to us.
Unsuccessful Delivery Attempt
If no one is present when the order arrives and it is being delivered by Australia Post, a notification will be left in the mail box for you to pick up your parcel at your local Post Office. If your item is delivered by Aramex or Allied Express, arrangements will be made in advance to ensure your item will arrive at your door at your convenience. A re-delivery cost will occur if you are not home at the arranged time.
Rejected by Receiver
If your item is a gift, please ensure the receiver knows about it to avoid parcel rejection. A re-delivery cost will occur if parcel has to be re-sent.
The expected time delivery given by each courier is for reference only. Deliveries might take longer than expected due to various reasons. If you do not receive your item within 10 business days, please contact our customer service team.
Pick up or arranging your own courier is not available at our warehouse, this is to ensure our distribution centre can dispatch all goods efficiently at all times.

Delivery time only starts after the item has been dispatched from our warehouse, usually 24-48 hours after your purchase.
We are unable to guarantee a delivery on any specific dates or times as this is not something our delivery partners would be able to guarantee either.
